Slovenian Veterinary Congress

The traditional annual symposium of Slovenian Small Animal Veterinary Association(SZVMZ) will this year be a part of a Slovenian Veterinary Congress, which covers many aspects of veterinary medicine besides small animals.

But this year being the 30th anniversary of SZVMZ, small animal medicine will be the focus of the congress.

Other topics include judicious use of antimicrobials, infectious diseases in different species, regulations and legislation, bujatrics, selected topics in beekeeping and much more. A separate stream for veterinary technicians will also be held. The lecturers are specialists and experts from Slovenia and abroad.

The programme will be enriched by interesting pre-congress workshops – electroporation, orthopedics, endocrinology, and stomatology, which will all be very practically oriented and interactive.

The congress will take place in Bernardin, Portorož, Slovenia, from 4th – 6th April, with workshops starting on the 2nd and 3rd in Ljubljana, Veterinary faculty (electroporation and stomatology), followed by others in Bernardin on 4th of April.
