The silent helpers assisting victims of crime – FYDO

The Facility Dog Europe – FYDO project is the first European collaborative initiative that aims to train dogs and their handlers to support victims and witnesses of crime in Belgium, France, and Italy.
Facility Dogs (FYDO) are carefully selected and highly trained by the specialist organization and handled to support vulnerable victims in their recovery.

On the 18th of October 2022, FYDO Final Project Conference took place in Brussels. It marked a milestone in the project. Partners and FYDO dogs have gathered to present and evaluate the achievements of handlers and their dogs in supporting victims of crime in their journey to justice and recovery.
