Greetings from the Chair of the Local Host Committee Dr. Jerzy Gawor
This is supposed to be both the first WSAVA Congress and the first FECAVA Congress in Poland. We are proud and enthusiastic about this because this is our first Congress; the first to be held during a pandemic and the first virtual event of its kind.
Our plans had to change enormously. The organizers had to overcome numerous challenges to preserve the event and tailor it to this extraordinary situation. We had to rely on our experience, wisdom, on our best intentions, as well as on the strong desire of the entire team to make it happen. No one has faltered. Many thanks to each and everyone involved!
The social program is minimal and the Opening Ceremony is symbolic. We have chosen a piece of art that best expresses our vision: a song performed by a band from Warsaw. The lyrics will deliver a sincere and optimistic message: „ And that there could’ve been nothing at all… Yet there’s everything…”
Take your time to experience this top-quality educational event and enjoy this special occasion. One day we will be back together again and be able to see all our old friends and to make new ones!
