Does my pet need antibiotics?
In 2018 FECAVA Working Group on Hygiene and the Use of Antimicrobials in Veterinary Practice produced a poster in collaboration with the Bella Moss Foundation: FECAVA Advice to Companion Animal Owners on Responsible Use of Antimicrobials and Infection Control.
In 2022 FECAVA redesigned it and made it available on multiple digital platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and a webpage). National Associations are encouraged to translate and share the documents in their language.
Antibiotic resistance is a threat to global health. Pet owners and veterinarians need to work together to preserve their efficacy.
