Facial expressions of pain in cats: the development and validation of a Feline Grimace Scale

Cats express pain with subtle changes on their faces.

The good news is that we can all learn this language with a simple tool delivered by a research group lead by Dr. Paulo Steagall from the Veterinary Faculty, Université de Montréal.
