Short biography

DVM at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Belgrade. Denis is one of the founders and partners in Veterinary Clinic Novak, Belgrade with referral and first opinion service. In 2002 he completed post-graduate training at the University of Cambridge – Veterinary School gaining the MRCVS status. Since 2002 he holds European diploma for Radiological assessment of hereditary skeletal diseases in small animals -GRSK.

Denis is currently president of FECAVA – Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Association, president of SASAP – Serbian Association of Small Animal Practitioners and he served as FVE / UEVP representative for the Serbian Veterinary Chamber. He is a representative of SASAP in WSAVA – World Small Animal Veterinary Association. Denis is a chairman of Eastern European Regional Veterinary Conference (EERVC).

Denis joined FECAVA in 2005 as a SASAP director. He chairs CPD working group for Eastern European Countries and he is a member of the FECAVA media/marketing group. Since joining FECAVA he was a member of EJCAP committee, policy working group and financial advisory committee. FECAVA Board positions: 4 years FECAVA treasurer and 2 years FECAVA vice president.

Denis is a recognized international speaker on small animal diagnostic imaging, soft tissue surgery, reproduction and general clinical topics.
