Kristen Messenger is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacology and a Board Certified Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia® at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She trained as a DVM, PhD, DACVAA, and DACVCP at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. Her lab studies the PK and PD of analgesic drugs in animals of all species and ages. Dr. Messenger is an award-winning educator
with a passion for teaching. She has helped coordinate scientific programs for numerous meetings as a member of both the ACVCP and the ACVAA, among other organizations.
