Jaime graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Zaragoza in 1998. After several years in general practice, he became a Clinical Instructor in Anaesthesia at the same faculty. He then completed a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the Royal Veterinary College, London, where he later worked as a Lecturer. Returning to Spain, he joined CEU-Cardenal Herrera University as Lecturer and obtained his PhD. Since then, he has worked at the referral hospital AniCura Valencia Sur. He has extensive clinical, teaching, and research experience, with a main interest in loco-regional anaesthesia
