After graduating in Veterinary Medicine and completing an internship/residency, I joined the faculty at São Paulo State University (UNESP-Botucatu, Brazil) in December 1995. I hold an MSc degree from UNESP-Botucatu (1998) and a PhD degree from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph (2003). Currently, I am a Full Professor of Veterinary Anesthesia at UNESP-Botucatu, and I have been a member of the Editorial Board of “Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia” since 2020. Among the 76 scientific articles listed in the “Web of Science,” I have 22 publications with at least 22 citations each (H-index = 22), averaging 17.21 citations per article. My research interests include hemodynamic changes during anesthesia, monitoring, and mechanical ventilation.
