Online Congress on Sustainability in Veterinary Medicine
The FECAVA Sustainability Working Group invites veterinary professionals to an online congress on sustainability in veterinary medicine, taking place on 17 June 2026 at 14:00 CET. The event is free of charge and will be held entirely online, aiming to support the exchange of knowledge and practical solutions for more sustainable veterinary practice across Europe.
The congress will bring together international experts to discuss key aspects of sustainability in veterinary medicine, including environmental responsibility in clinical practice, laboratory settings, and veterinary management. The programme will focus on practical and implementable approaches that support more sustainable decision-making in daily veterinary work.
The event will open at 14:00 CET with a welcome and introduction by moderator Stephan Neumann, followed by a series of thematic sessions covering sustainability in veterinary practice, specialised fields, and system-level approaches. The programme will conclude with presentations from professional groups active in the field of sustainability within the veterinary profession.
The congress will end at 19:00 CET and aims to foster collaboration, exchange of ideas, and the integration of sustainability as a core value in modern veterinary medicine.
