FECAVA Strengthens Collaboration in Lithuania Through Continuing Education Event
On April 10, the Lithuania Small Animal Veterinary Association, represented by its President Liutauras Domeika, invited FECAVA Vice President Stephan Neumann to Lithuania. The purpose of the visit was to introduce FECAVA and to contribute to a continuing education day for veterinary professionals.
As part of the event, Stephan Neumann delivered several lectures. His presentations covered topics including laboratory diagnostics of liver diseases and other gastrointestinal disorders, as well as the surgical treatment of tumors of the gastrointestinal tract. In addition, he provided an overview of current developments in veterinary medicine in Germany.
Another key focus of his visit was the presentation of FECAVA, in particular the newly established FECAVA Certification Programme for Advanced Veterinary Clinicians, which attracted considerable interest.
The event was a great success, with more than 80 colleagues from across Lithuania in attendance. In addition to the lectures, the day offered many opportunities for engaging and constructive discussions. Stephan Neumann expressed his sincere appreciation for the invitation and greatly enjoyed the exchange with colleagues, describing the day as both productive and rewarding.
