The FECAVA Council met on 28 March 2026 in Otočec, Slovenia, bringing together representatives from across Europe for a full day of discussions on the federation’s activities and future direction.

The meeting focused on key organisational matters, including updates on Board activities, financial reports, and the ongoing implementation of the FECAVA Strategic Plan. Progress in areas such as membership development, professional certification programmes, and digital initiatives was reviewed, highlighting continued efforts to support veterinary professionals.

Discussions also covered emerging projects from recent roundtable sessions, country-specific matters, and preparations for upcoming congresses, including the joint WSAVA/FECAVA Congress in Warsaw in 2026 and the FECAVA EuroCongress 2027 in Antwerp.
