Copenhagen: Design, Art, Food and History

“Come to the land of fairy tales, a small country measured in acres, but large in spirit and history.” - Dr. Anne Sorensen, Chairperson of the local organising committee and DSAVA President.

With a history and culture that dates back to the 1st century, Copenhagen and its surroundings offer a unique touristic experience filled with good food, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, festivals and fine art.

Did you know? The Viking Ship Museum, located in the historic city of Roskilde, just 30 minutes west of Copenhagen by train, is the only place in the world where you can go sailing in a genuine Viking boat (the sailing season is from 1 May to 30 September, right in time for WSAVA/FECAVA 2017!).

Discover more of what Copenhagen has to offer!
