About EJCAP

The European Journal of Companion Animal Practice (EJCAP) is the official journal of FECAVA, the Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations.

EJCAP is printed in English and contains reprints of the best material originally printed in national journals and translated into English, original work, commissioned papers, papers based on FECAVA state of the art lectures, papers given at FECAVA continuing education courses, book reviews, news and a calendar of continuing education possibilities.

EJCAP is the only non-specialist large circulation veterinary publication in Europe. The Scientific standard is very high as each country submits its best articles which are further selected by the EJCAP Production Sub-Committee.

EJCAP is published three times a year. Two issues are in hard copy. The third issue is an online issue only, devoted to one scientific topic each year. 

The hard copy issues are published in April and October.The third online issue is published each December and is available here on www.fecava.org . The hard copy issues are also availbale online. But only 6 months after FECAVA members and subscribers have received the hard copy.

Members of the Associations belonging to the Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations receive the European Journal of Companion Animal Practice as a benefit of their National Association subscription.
