Dr. Elke Rudloff has been teaching about feeding tube placement in dogs and cats for 25 years to veterinarians and technicians, and with the expertise of her associate instructors, Dr. Duana McBride and Ms. Louise O'Dywer, will make you comfortable with the procedures as well!

Objectives of the workshop:

This session provides hands on opportunities to learn nasal and esophageal tube placement for use on critically ill or injured dogs and cats.  Procedures will include nasal and esophageal feeding tube placement using stuffed animal models. Examples of calculating the nutritional needs will also be reviewed.

Program:

1 hour: lecture and videos.
1.5 hours: dry lab including demonstrations and hands on training.
